My D&D superbeings thread has been locked, i have not added anything for a while but posted up new pictures of my latest addition-how is this "thread necromancy"? the project will go on for years-what gives?

I think the Nuts & Bolts forum is where this thread belongs. More likely a Mod or Admin will see it there.

Send the Mod a PM, and possibly ask if the thread could be moved, after being unlocked, to the Painting and Modelling section where the sort of thread necro is fairly commonplace. There are several threads with D&D minis, or their analogs in the P&M section.
