Fresh-Faced New User

Calama, Chile

Hi there folks! Yet another new user joining the ranks and files of Dakka users!

A bit about myself: I live in Calama, Chile, where the hobby is pretty much non-existent (most of the wargaming scene here in Chile is done in Santiago, almost a full 1,000 miles from my town) but here I stand, always hopeful that some other kindred spirit will eventually show up and join the fun. I mostly collect, paint, and solo play historicals of many periods, mostly Ancients from the Classical period (you know, Roman Republic, Carthaginians, Macedonians, Celts, etc.) and also some feudal Japanese, but just like many of us, the game that started it all was WHFB (back when the 5th edition box was released). I still have my old Bretonnians and Lizardmen, which are about to get a new chance of hitting the battlefield with the Kings of War rules, along with some Undead and Dwarves added to the mix.

I'm also dabbling a bit with Sci-Fi in the shape of Urban War and recently Gaslands, although I've just started out with both.

I'm also kind of an Age of Sails buff, with a little collection of papercraft ships from Jeff Knudsen AKA the War Artisan, and also I started a couple of Man O' War self-made fleets. I'll post some pics if you're interested in seeing them.

And that's pretty much it, I'll see you on the threads!
