I so wanted to use this... but for once everything I want, I either have, or can't get on Ebay.

Too soon for Kill Team, and inexplicably, no one has Spirit Hosts, or Myrmourn Banshees.

It is the balance of the force since you have Forgeworld over there and don't have to pay between double and triple the cost with shipping and all the other BS add on's and currency conversions.

Major holiday, or just before one. Possibly beginning of august before the back to school rush.

Man, I've been using these codes to buy GW stuff from UK sellers. Nothing like getting a Warscryer Citadel for like $60.

How do these sales even work? It's not like eBay can just cut third-party sellers' prices. Does eBay cover the difference out of its own pocket just to attract more buyers?

Seems like it. One day sales -> people making more impulse buys -> good for eBay and the sellers both. eBay pays out of pocket in return for getting customers more accustomed to using eBay which will make some portion of them become new regular users.

also if they're sales that wouldn't have happened anyway (which a fair few will be) ebay gets extra sales fees which will means over most of the cost of the promotion is covered

plus these coupons don't work for lots of fine print items like, y'know, cars or diamonds. it's there to help drive the small business sellers. however, they DO stack if you're using eBates or Honey. Usually a minimum of another 2%, up to 8 or 10% cash back. I think I have like 40 bucks coming next month from eBates.

Yeah man, just change your search parameters to "worldwide", "buy it now" and sort by lowest to highest. Bought mine from this guy -
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Warscryer-Citadel-64-73/163142544801?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

With the coupon code and a couple of ebay bucks I had, wound up being about 60 bucks shipped to the USA.

I found out, oddly enough, that if you go through the eBay resolution center for a non-sent item, they refund you the amount BEFORE discount. Didn't realize that until a month or so later.

OK, that's what I thought, but everyone selling had a "doesnt ship to the US" disclaimer. Just bad luck at the moment, so I'll keep my eyes peeled. Thanks!

The guy I linked ships to the USA. Just merely by searching for "worldwide" from the ebay USA site will only show people who will ship to the USA.
