So quick question and if this is in the wrong area im sorry. If i declare a charge aginst 2 units but dont make the second do i fail or just charge the one i am in range of? If i do still charge and say i charge my knight gallant into some scouts with two smash captians behind them, we well just say the scouts are 4 inches away and the captains are 10 inches away. If i declare all and only make the scouts, then they herioc intervene can i then attack the captians as i declared a charge aginst them? Appologies if this was incoherent.

You make the charge. If you are within an of the smash captains you can attack them as you dwclared a charge on them

hm? you can only attack charged units in the first battleround

BRB p.182: "Models that charged this turn can only target enemy units that they charged in the previous phase"

He declared the charge, but failed it. So he didnt "charge" the Unit.
