Can a Canoptek Cloak repair a Triarch Stalker?
Because it states "select one friendly <Dynasty> model" and Triarch units have no Dynasty and can't benefit from Dynasty Traits.
Is this an hiatus in the rules, purposely restricting us from using Crypteks en Spyders from repairing Stalkers?

Is the Triarch Stalker a <Dynasty> model? If not, a Cryptek / Spyder obviously can't repair it.

(Hint: the Triarch Stalker is not a <Dynasty> model).

If it doesn't have the <DYNASTY> keyword, it can't be repaired.

Triarch models should have had a rule that made them count as having the dynasty keyword of their detachment. Its full on bs how badly they work with their own army.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Why? All you're doing is making GW waste time going though emails that didn't need to be sent. This isn't an FAQ worthy question. Might as well ask "Do I need to roll to hit for my Tactical Marines?"

Aren't all necron buffs infantry only anyways?

Sure. So triarch preatorians benefit from none of them. Do you have a dynasty benefit? Stalkers and preatorians get none of them. Do crypteks or tohlok the blind heal your vehicles? Not if its a stalker!

It makes sense for them to not benefit from the <Dynasty> buffs as they are never part of a Dynasty, but it sucks that most (all?) of the none Dynasty specific rules (such as Crypteks, Res Orbs, etc) are <Dynasty> specific.
FOr those rules, they could have easily just said Necron Infantry, or Necron Vehicle.
