Hi Guys,
Thanks for the warm welcome last month, I was advised to share updates on my blog to get some feedback from you. I've just written a guide on stripping paint off miniatures and was hoping you could please have a look and provide some critical feedback, please?

You make no mention of the risks IPA poses to resin

Good guide, I'm using methylated spirits which seems to work in the same way. Did try nail polish remover acetone free and it melted a while devastator squad...

Rogerio; Did you use the right version? I use Acetone free nail varnish remover and I've never had a problem like you've had.

I use meths for all my metal and plastic if needed, I use acetone to soften superglue if it’s not done with meths
Good guide though, where did you find super clean?
I need some to clean my engine

yeah, I need to add an update. I did some tests. It works fine if you leave the resin in for 20 minutes, brush off then rinse. but don't leave it soaking for hours as it will melt the resin.
I left a part in for 24 hours and all the ends started falling off and it went very soft

I didn't, but I have watched a few videos comparing them

Those are some good results.
I don't generally strip plastics or resin, but I do strip a lot of metal miniatures and for those I go straight for acetone. It's a far more aggressive solvent and will get metal models clean a lot more reliably than IPA will - but of course it will reliably destroy plastic or resin if you try it on those.
A few years back I worked in a clean room, and whenever we wanted to clean a silicon wafer we always started with an acetone cleaning to do the bulk of the work, then IPA for a final polish.
