I've made a quick tutorial on how to get vibrant looking gradient undercoats for your models, with a method that is quicker and easier than simply painting colour ontop of black/another colour.

In the tutorial I use a Drukhari Ravager as an example:

I hope it'll prove useful to someone. Works on all vehicles and all colours.

Looks good, man! Any tips for those of us wanting to try the technique with just regular brushes?

This technique makes everything look like an airbrushed model rather than an actual thing that is just smaller.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Absolutely awesome tutorial. I’m curious do you have any suggestions for which red would work best for a vibrant Saim hann color scheme. It wouldn’t be as dark as the dark eldar.

Just do the same, but leave less black showing when you add the white.

I’ll give it a o with a few different reds to see how they look. Fiery orange highlights I presume. Is there a good way to do the black stripe so it has a shade to it as well. Like greyish blend almost.
