I'm slightly confused with the Storm-cast Battle-tome. I'm doing a Hallowed Knights army and like every other storm host they have a specific relic. The wording says "The first Hallowed Knights Hero to receive an artifact of power must be given the parchment of purity."

My confusion is in the wording as it can be taken two ways. (Specifically, "The first hero to receive and artifact" this can imply it is already equipped with one).

Option one: The first hero equipped with an artifact of power is also equipped with the parchment.

Option two: The first relic you give to a hero is the parchment.

If you give any hero a Relic, the first one must be the Parchment of Purity.

It's a trade-off in exchange for you getting the Stormhost rules. If you want more Relics, take a Warscroll Battalion. It's not hard with Stormcast, especially if you got the Soul War box(it gives you most if not all of one called 'Hailstorm Battery'--my book is out on loan at the moment so can't confirm if it's complete or not).

Ehh...remember that the Stormhost rules aren't mandatory. It's best to read it almost like a checklist:

1) Did you take a Stormhost's rules?
2) Did you take a Hero for that Stormhost?
3) Did you give that Hero this specific Artifact?
4) Enjoy having to do more stuff later!

If you want any non-Hallowed Knights relics? You have to add Warscroll Battalions. Every Battalion unlocks an additional artifact choice for you.

Gotcha, but its still one relic per hero at all times yes?
