This was a major undertaking.
I did not keep precise count but, knowing how long I've had this in the works, I'd estimate somewhere around 80-100 hours to build, repose and paint this thing.

I'm not commenting on (part of) the base decorations. : )

I really enjoyed the work, though. I can tell you that much.

Sorry if the pics aren't the best. I took them with my S7 Edge (decent camera, though!), and cleaned them up in my photo suite (Photoscape).

Turns out... laspistols really DON'T work against Knights.

These "tentacle-like" growths were fun to do.

Right side. There's a little gloss coat inside the gun/mouth:

More left carapace details:

The view from the front. Do you see the semi-hidden detail?

The Guardsman's view:

I think this pic does a good job of evoking the feel in the scene:

Thanks for checking it out.
It's done, so I'm not making changes. LOL
Ideas, thoughts, suggestions, and other exclamations of how great I am (LOL) are welcome.

Wow - so much detail. You’ve got excellent sculpting skills! I love the pose and the overall scene.

For a Nurgley model the metals (on the guns especially) seem quite shiny. I feel like some of it could do with some corrosion and grime adding.

Great job though!

Very nicely done ! The conversions and gory additions are all well thought and realized.

Any shininess you see on the silver is strictly because of the light. The silver is dulled by washes.
Most of the shiny spots on the brass color are because I specifically did an edge highlight (like the front of the carapace) or because of lighting.
Most shine you see if lighting, because I agree with you. For the most parts a Nurgle model needs to have that grime and corrosion apparent on it... especially when it's something daemonically possessed, like this.

As for the comment on my sculpting skills? Thank you. I couldn't do, say, a human figure to save my life. I'm pretty happy with my skills on things like this, though.

I really REALLY appreciate that. I spent a lot of time contemplating the precise pose I wanted, then making it happen. I'm glad it shows.
