Hey folks, I would like to give AoS a try. I play 40k and have a decent size collection of Nurgle Daemons. One of my justifications for expanding my 40k collection with Nurgle Daemons was I could also use them in AoS. I have a GUO/Rotigus, 3 Start Collecting Nurgle boxes,a gnarlmaw, a spoilpox scrivener, slopity bilepiper and epidemius. Would this give me a sollid foundation to field a AOS army?

Its a solid foundation yes.

Heck you have a full 2k army right there. All you need are the Nurgle and General’s Handbook rulebooks and you’re golden.

Don't want to hijack this thread, but I think my question could be of interest to the OP. I'm also thinking about giving AoS a try ... with 2nd edition just out, are all three General's Hanbook rulebooks needed or just the 2018 one ?

Just the 2018 one - each handbook replaces the previous.

It would be more accurate to say the GHBs overlap. Any rule from a previous GHB that isn't covered by a more recent GHB is still legal.

2000 Khorne Bloodbound (Skullfiend Tribe- Aqshy)
1000 Tzeentch Arcanites (Pyrofane Cult - Hysh) in progress
2000 Slaves to Darkness (Ravagers)

Out of interest what rules are there covered by a previous GHB which are not repeated in the current one (or updated elsewhere)

I'd have to break out the old GHBs, but off the top of my head, the seige rules from 2017 are still viable.
