Great report. I think Mortarion was used wrong.

How would you have used him differently?

Do you think the Death Guard list was decent, or would you have brought a different combination of models to the table?

First off i am an aggressive player, so my comments stem from my type play.

Getting first turn is the key for Mortarion, his casting ability for protection and of course

his getting into contact is essential. In this game he hid in the back behind a weak cultist line

while attacking with other things else where. I also would have backed him up with better

support units. His initial placement really isolated Mortarion and it hurt him in the end game.

I think there's very little point in screening or hiding Mortarion unless there are some soecific weapons that you're hiding him from. If something's going to to get t1 charges, like Magnus or harlequins, they're going to fly or leap over cultists and charge anyway.

The list seems decent altgough I like 3 plaguecrawlers with enrtopy cannon and stubbers. They seem like such a bargain to hide on the backlines.
