Good Day Everyone,

I would like to build and paint a home-brewed list for the Inquisition since as of yet there are no rules. This will be for my narrative campagin. I have about five or six other kills teams that they can compete against. I do not want any Space Marines or high powered assassins (Death Cult only). I would like to to keep the feeling of an eclectic group of weirdos working (or forced to work) for a near, mad man.

As of now I am thinking about including the below. The Ogryn might be too high-powered. I would like see what I could do to balance him.

1. Inquisitor
2. Interrogator
3. Acololtye
4. Crusader
5. Jokero
6. Kroot
7. Priest
8. Sister of Battle
9. Frateris Militia
10. Psyker
11. Astropath
12. Sister of Silence
13. Tech Priest
14. Servitor
15. Servo-Skull
16. Scion
17. Veteran Guardsman
18. Ogryn
19. Rattling

Sounds interesting. I think good starting point would be to look at their 40K entries, or closest equivalents, considering that most rules are directly ported over. Though in case of some characters it might be prudent to lower the number of their wounds and possibly attacks. Multiple wounds are really rare in Kill Team. An Inquisitor could have two wounds, whereas lesser characters like priests and psykers have only one.

For ogryn, I suggest looking at genestealer aberrant, that is similar sort of big brute that is already in the game. 40K ogryns have +1 T, W and A over aberrants, which is a lot in this scale. Perhaps drop all or some of those stats to aberrant levels? I definitely recommend at least lowering one of the survivability stats (T or W.)

On that note, do you think a Inquisition Kill Team will ever be released?

I really hope so! And considering that we know that a Rogue Trader kill team is coming, similar treatment for the Inquisition seems possible.

Most of those would be fine - Considering that we have Warriors and Lictors I don't think the Ogryn is out of order. Given the notional scale I would just go with the Interrogator obviously unlike what GW will do ((if they ever bother) - give him/her a big list of options!

Be interesting to see what they do with the Rogue Trader team which should be similar but if its like the half assed job they made of the current kill teams yours should be better.

I AM A MARINE PLAYER

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001
