im relatively new and will be hoping to play with this list soon,what detachments can i use with this set up to get as many CP's as possible. and advice also will be appreciated.

Interesting units, Assault Marines are pretty crap, even more so without special weapons. I would drop them, see if you can free up some points elsewhere and take some Inceptors, and then you can get an extra CP from 3xFA choices.

Also, what are your plans for the Termies? If you're planning to DS them, you could consider dropping the Land Raider.

Thanks for the reply, i intend on using putting the terms in the land-raider and head up board, hopefully soaking up firepower away from the lighter transports.
i do have a storm-hawk interceptor but i have never used one, would you recommend that over the assault marines??

About the Stormhawk...I used this week one againt Drukhari. Like a Boss. But it depent about how many Fly your rival will have.

I like the list? always combat squad to mitigate morale.

assualt squads are in a bad place right now; leave them at home if you can.

the stormhawk is a much better choice.
Land raiders aren't the best right now either, but far from unusable. my Achilles pattern tends to surprise people... even if it does cost an arm(y) and leg

No. No Achilles pattern on SM. You have the "normal" one, the Redeemer and the Crusader.

yes you can use the achilles pattern land raider for space marines...it will be a detachment form the astartes codex
