So, it comes with 5 Primaris Reavers... unless I'm mistaken on points, 5 Reavers, even fully loaded with all the upgrades possible, cannot make up 100 points. It's closer to maybe 75 to 80 points. That doesn't really make much sense. Again, unless I'm wrong, you can't create a kill team with this Kill Team box set.

Can someone explain this box set to me?

Thanks

AFAIK, most sets don't have 100 pts teams.
Gotta order more boxes from GW, boy

Generic characters disappearing? Elite units of your army losing options and customizations? No longer finding that motivation to convert?
Your army could suffer Post-Chapterhouse Stress Disorder (PCSD)! If you think that your army is suffering one or more of the aforementioned symptoms, call us at 789-666-1982 for a quick diagnosis!

That actually makes a lot of sense though seems unfair.

Thanks

Note, in Kill Team, for every 10 points less expensive your starting Force is compared to your opponents, you get 1 extra Command Point per turn. If everyone's going 99 or 100 points in your area, starting at 89 or 90 could actually give you an advantage!

This.

Also worth noting that Specialist levels cost you points and the cost does go up as you gain more levels in a Specialist skill.

100 is your max, not a requirement. Giving you less than 100 points is likely more to give your army some room for upgrades from specializations for campaigns. If you're playing match play then go in at 100 points, or as close as you can, every time.

Just like starter boxes don't contain a whole army.

Also don't forget that you're supposed to be filling a roster with options that you use to build a kill team tailored to the mission so you want substantially more than 100pts of models.

Well there is an army box not having a full army inside, which is fair. And something GW does for AoS, where you get half or 2/3 of a squad in the starter set, or puting valuable characters in to unit boxs, and leaving people 2 models they can't ever use if they ever decide to build the character.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.
