First the RAW examples of both.

Take Aim!: Re-Roll hot rolls of 1 for all models in the ordered unit until the end of phase.

Shrouding Spores: Your opponent must subtract
1 from hit rolls made for ranged weapons that
target <HIVE FLEET> units (excluding MONSTERS)
whilst they are within 6" of any <HIVE FLEET>
Venomthropes. In addition, your opponent must
subtract 1 from hit rolls made for ranged weapons
that target <HIVE FLEET> MONSTERS whilst they are
within 6" of any <HIVE FLEET> Venomthrope units
that contain 3 or more models. Increase the range
of both these effects to 9" whilst this unit contains
6 models.

How do these two interact?

A. All 1's and 2's are treated as 1's and are thus re-roll-able.

B. All 1's become 0 and all 2's become 1's, thus only 2's are re-roll-able

C. Only truly rolled 1's are re-roll-able, the 2's are not re-rolled

C. First faq for 8th clears it. You reroll first, then modifiers

From 'Re-Rolls' (page 185 of the main rulebook, emphasis added):

Some rules allow you to re-roll a dice roll, which means you get to roll some or all of the dice again. You can never re-roll a dice more than once, and re-rolls happen before modifiers (if any) are applied.

What they said. Additionally zero is not a possible result. Results of less than 1 count as 1.

Why is this a poll? The rules are not a democracy. The rules are explicitly clear and have been from day one.

Are they intuitive, I would say not, because it's been over a year and people are still confused about it despite the rules being clear and FAQs being released.

Maybe it’s a poll because the OP thought those were the logical options? And whilst it’s clear to you just maybe it wasn’t to them? Best to assume positive intent and be polite.
