I have a feeling that GW has erroneously classified one of each of the tactics in the 4 faction boxes released thus far, namely the tactics that are useable in a specific Killzone. For specificity, I identify each below:

Fangs of Ulfrich

Alchomite Detonation (Sector Imperialis: Astartes Tactic) - 2CP

These Marines were released with terrain features found in the Sector Mechanicus Killzone, as well as having been released alongside the Sector Mechanicus Killzone expansion. Moreover, none of the missions in the core rulebook use the Alchomite Stacks terrain feature, rather they make use of terrain associated with the only Killzone noted in this book, Sector Imperialis ruins.

Krogskull's Boyz

Joyride (Sector Imperialis: Orks Tactic) - 1CP

These Orks were released with terrain features found in the Sector Mechanicus Killzone, as well as having been released alongside the Sector Mechanicus Killzone expansion. Moreover, none of the missions in the core rulebook use the Galvanic Servohaulers terrain feature, rather they make use of terrain associated with the only Killzone noted in this book, Sector Imperialis ruins.

Drop Force Imperator

Mission Critical Supplies (Sector Imperialis: Militarum Tactic) - 1CP

These Scions were released with terrain features found in the Sector Munitorum Killzone, as well as having been released alongside the Sector Munitorum Killzone expansion. Moreover, none of the missions in the core rulebook use the Munitorum Armoured Container terrain feature, rather they make use of terrain associated with the only Killzone noted in this book, Sector Imperialis ruins.

Writhing Shadow

Dragged into the Darkness (Sector Imperialis: Tyranid Tactic) - 2CP

These Genestealers were released with terrain features found in the Sector Munitorum Killzone, as well as having been released alongside the Sector Munitorum Killzone expansion. Moreover, none of the missions in the core rulebook use the Munitorum Crates & Barrels terrain features, rather they make use of terrain associated with the only Killzone noted in this book, Sector Imperialis ruins.

It seems to me that the Alchomite Detonation & Joyride tactics should have referenced Sector Mechanicum and that Mission Critical Supplies & Dragged into the Darkness should have referenced Sector Munitorum. Anyone else share this opinion or have some other insight on this point?

You understand that these are expansions, right? The don't need to be referenced in the core rulebook. The name of the terrain piece is the critical feature in regards to the tactics card.

The tyranid specific tactics in the writhing shadows has metabolic overdrive written differently than in the core rule book, the printed card adds the word "[normal] move" instead of move action completely redefining what it can do. I know a lot of folks scream its too powerful but they literally say that about anything and ill be playing as written in the core book until FAQd
