Do CSM have any other transport other than a Chaos Rhino? Or is the Chaos Rhino the only transports they can use?

Thanks in advance!

By battlefield role, the new FW termite.

There are a lot of FW index vehicles that have transport capacity but I think they all have a different “role”. (Eg fast/heavy/LOW)

I moved this thread to a more appropriate forum. Not really a question about how the rules play.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

You mean Proteus? Spartan isn't a Land Raider...

Looks like a land raider to me.

The Spartan Assault Tank, sometimes referred to as the Land Raider Spartan, is a heavy-assault transport that was originally used by the Space Marine Legions during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy, and later by the Chapters of the Adeptus Astartes that still possess them in their armoury.

^Thats from Warhammer wikki.

Also, who really cares?

Stop using WWiki. It's garbage, literally even 40K wiki page at 4chan is better than this trash full of unsourced fanons and outright fabrications. Never mind actual 40K wiki like Lexicanum.

Spartan has as about much in common with Land Raider as Razorback does. Have you, I don't know, ever looked at it? More than once?

And who cares? Gee, maybe people interested in setting. You know, these who don't mistake tau for humans or who think the Emperor was an eldar (actual examples from WWiki...)

Lexicanum also states that the Spartan is based on the Land Raider.

The very first Spartan model was actually converted from a RT-era Mk I Land Raider model. That's why the current FW Spartan model looks like an enlarged Mk I Land Raider. It's literally always been a Land Raider variant.

WD119 if you're interested. With the Blood Axe orks repairing a dreadnought on the cover.

A little bit of righteous anger now and then is good, actually. Don't trust a person who never gets angry.

Also, Forge World themselves have called it a Land Raider Spartan on occasion...

That’s from a FW Open Day six years ago.

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"
