When you fire in over watch with a hand flamer and / or flamer, what happens?

They are normally auto hit D6 times with in range but over watch only hits on a "6"

Also if it is already spelled out.. please let me know page number and where..

Thanks

Autohits!
Yes, flamer are very powerful in overwatch.
The only problem is the range (because troups are too stupid to wait for the ideal moment to shoot when they are charged! I really miss the old overwatch rule of the 2nd edition...).

You would just roll D6 for how many auto-hits you get against the charging model (As long as they are in range).

I take it that the auto-hit rule in the Flamer/Hand Flamer weapon stat line overrides any hit roll rules, whether in the normal shooting phase or as overwatch.

The Overwatch rules on p31 state that all the attacks have to go on the charger. You can't split them.

I am new to this and have not read through the rules. To make a Overwatch shot the charging model has to be within the range of the weapon before it is moved right?
