basically I have a list but im still questioning the legality. im using the plaguetouched warband battalion from everchosen and archaon from everchosen. and everything else is maggothkin, except marauders from slave to darkness and the warhounds as monsters of chaos. now do I get to select nurgle allegiance because everyone has the keyword nurgle, ? what about things from slaves to darkness maggothkin and everchosen? the warhounds are the allies but to who? need some help here how to understand this.

Faq states everchosen battalions can’t be used in a Nurgle allegiance army. You just use either everchosen allegiance (lol) or GA chaos. As such blightkings aren’t battleline anymore and must use maruaders or warriors for battleline. Or Warhounds if they are chaos battleline.

A: Yes, but the battalion and all of the units in it would be allies

Any warscroll, including battalions, with the nurgle keyword should be able to be taken in a nurgle army, not just including only units with the keyword. (Don't have the book, so not sure if the battalion has the NURGLE keyword) If it has, technically this should not have been an FAQ but an errata (removing the nurgle keyword from the warscroll).

Otherwise, following the same logic, you could start banning STD units in a nurgle army or say they need to be allies.

It does not have the Nurgle keyword, it just uses Nurgle keyword units.

That means the units in the battalion will count as Allies (because the allegiance of the battalion is Everchosen, even if you're using STD units), which makes it really hard to be under your given allies allotment outside of large games.
