Disease of Mirth (Nurgle Bilepiper aura) says friendly Nurgle units roll two dice for morale check and pick the lowest

Auric Mask (Knight Relic) Says enemy's within 12" roll two dice for morale and pick the HIGHEST

When these two rules meet, what happens?

Simplest way to make both happen would be to roll 3 dice, and then apply both rules.

Please provide the PROPER rules when asking a question. The Auric mask does NOT say roll 2 dice for morale, it says "roll an extra D6 when taking a Morale test", while the Bilepiper's rule does say "roll 2 dice instead of 1". We can't help you if you don't provide the proper rules.

We have two effects, one saying roll 2 dice instead of 1, and one saying to roll an additional dice. So you roll a total of 3 dice, and discard the highest result (per the Bilepiper) and the "use the Highest Result" (per the Mask).

How do you propose we are to both discard and use the highest result?

You discard the highest result, then by definition use the highest result remaining? It's a case of following all the rules. If you use the highest but then also discard that result, you're not following all the rules. The only way to follow all the rules is to discard first, then use the remaining highest.

Or we can throw up our hands, say the game breaks and endure months of being called every name under the sun and cyber-stalked, with zero repercussions to the people being rude and/or cyber-stalking you.

...well, that escalated quickly (and bizarrely).

BCB, you're getting a bit RAI in your old age.

I don't dislike the change, for what it's worth.

The opposing player must roll an extra D6 when taking a Morale test for a unit within 12" of the bearer and use the highest result.

Disease of Mirth
Whenever a NURGLE DAEMON unit takes a Morale test within 6" of any friendly Sloppity Bilepipers, roll 2 dice instead of 1 and discard the highest result. In addition, each time a unit fails a Morale test within 6" of any enemy Sloppity Bilepipers, one addtional model is removed from that unit.

Both rules are to be resolved at the same time, when taking a morale test for a unit. Sequencing kicks in. One rule would be resolved first, then the other. If we resolve DoM first it would be rolling two dice, discarding the highest roll, then roll another dice for AM, and use the highest roll. If we resolve AM first we roll two dice and use the highest result. Then we roll another two dice for DoM and discard the highest result. Or is the condition of rolling two dice already met by AM ? One dice would remain, which is the highest result and would be discarded ? Both sound crazy

I agree that rolling three dice discarding the highest roll and use the highest from the remaining two dice is the way to go for now, until its answered in a FAQ.
