Master Haemonculus Valonian Ciratrix Of The Prophets Of Flesh...











A horrific ancient evil from the hellish bowls of Commorragh’s underbelly. The twisted creature that is Valonian Ciratrix has carved a great legacy of unimaginable, nightmarish horror for thousands and thousands of years - so Old is he, that Valonian was one of the “Proto-Haemonculi”, those individuals within the Pre-Fall Eldar Empire that had power beyond measure and began some of the many Pleasure cults that lead to the birth of the Dark Prince and the fall of his own race. In a similar vein to Urien Rakarth, he too can recall that very day of Slaanesh’s awakening. Even now, he still continues his horrible work as if nothing had ever happened... to Valonian the passage of time is barely a concept - as is death itself, for like many of his fellow peers within the Covens he has tasted death’s sweet embrace more times than even his wizened mind can recall. Every death is a new experience, every battle is a new playground. Haemonculus Valonian travels the galaxy far and wide seeking new and interesting ways to meet his current fleshform’s end and even more inventive ones for his prey. With twisted glee he enslaved and experiments, constantly perfecting his macabre army of flesh and terror. Like Demons they appear from the shadows, often crafted from the flesh matter from hundreds of different subjects. With is gnarled finger he guides this carnival of agony and terror to greater and greater heights of destruction and misery. With every atrocity comes a newer plan - a greater nightmare to unleash upon realspace... until all the galaxy has not only burned, but bled dry in a surreal and never-ending Hellscape...


When I was doing this conversion I wanted to capture an “Elegant” feel to Valonian Ciratrix - no multiple flesh limbs or whatnot, but still a Haemonculus. I also wanted to convey a Pre-Fall Eldar Empire aesthetic (at least how I imagine it to be) to really capture the fact that he was there when it all ended... or began? Perhaps in his case at least lol.

I think this marks my 9th or 10th Haemonculus in my collection lol... (yeah, I have a problem... shhhh).

The dynamic of the piece screams arrogant haemonculus. Very apt as idoneth are essentially AoS dark eldar in the lore.

@hive city dweller: I thought Daughters Of Khaine were Dark Elves? (I know Witches were a staple unit for them in WFB). I don’t know much about AoS lore, but a lot of the Idoneth Armor is perfect for Dark Eldar!
