I invested when I lived in another area and have been pouring over the new beta rules. I'm wondering, is anyone else kickstarted this/planning on buying this? It looks like a good alternative to 40k, although there is a lot of options to keep track of in each turn. I'm wondering if decision paralysis is going to be an issue.

I wasn't super interested in any of the factions, though I'm curious about the Guild in the future. Overall, its harder for me to blind buy into larger scale games, so I'm feeling a little wait and see about it.

I nearly did, as the figs are pre-assembled which is huge for me when it comes to limited time. I heard the KS still hasn't even delivered. It also looked as excessively complex as Malifaux.
Post some game pics and review when it arrives if you are willing.

For those who haven't heard, packages have started arriving on people's doorsteps in the USA.

Got my Abyssinia force last weekend. I think the general enthusiasm for the game died out a long time ago due to delays and shoddy communication. Minis are nice but not worth the price of being pre-assembled - if I could have shaved 20% off the msrp to assemble them myself I would have. Rulebook is also uninspiring, not a single photo of an assembled or painted mini in the whole thing, its like 80% fluff and artwork, the remaining 20% is the rules. No photos of finished models, no photos of staged/setpiece battles or showdowns, not even a damned hobby section

You won't find that in any Wyrd book ever, they've never done that. I get that it can be a good way to get people inspired, but at the same time so does the ton of fluff that's presented in there. Those stories are pretty damn awesome, and I know the Battle of London got me super pumped for my KE.
Otherwise, I got my pledge for King's Empire yesterday, and it was pretty great. Little bit of gap filling, mold line removal and fixing of warped weapons to do, but nothing that isn't easy to fix. The decks are gorgeous and easy to read(standard one is boring but nice, KE deck I LOVE and the LE deck is probably the best deck Wyrd have ever made), unit cards are good quality, and the minis themselves are great for PVC. A little on the pricy side at retail but hey, I'm only missing 3 units anyway
