I'm adding a TH/SS terminator to my collection of "classic" Marines.
Typically, I'd just do the generic build out of the box, or something close to that, but no more ornate than a unit leader.

But, I have Lizardmen bits, specifically heads (as on ornate decoration/trophy on the armour), shields and weapons.
Given how cool these would look on a Salamander TH/SS termie, would it be worth it to go against my normal criteria for the project?
Or should I keep it simple and leave the details to the paint job?

I should add that the imperial Terminators I have atm, include:
1 GK w/ halberd and storm bolter - no conversion, out of the box build
1 Deathwing w/ first and stormbolter - no conversion, straight out of the Dark Vengeance box
1 Wolf Guard w/ lightning claws - no conversion of the termie himself, but he's on a rock with a Fenrisian wolf on the base

So most of my Marines are "out of the box" and I don't yet have any with a traditional TH or SS. This Salamander would provide that generic build
But it would also look cool with a scaly shield and reptilian head trophy

This is kinda what I was thinking:

Kudos to Rickfactor for these awesome conversions

But I've decided to stick with the regular Storm Shield and only add 3 dorsal spines on the back, plus a small nose spike on the helmet.
Should still have the overall look of a "generic/classic" TH/SS termie, but with this subtle detail should evoke the Firedrake aesthetic.
I'll also have flames painted on 1 or both legs.
