More to motivate myself than anything else, I’ve decided to start a Painting blog or two!

First up is Dark Age Kukulkani! If you haven’t tried Dark Age, you really should, it’s a phenomenal game and I’ve really enjoyed playing in it.

My first Dark Age army is Kukulkani, or Mayans.....INNNNN....SPAAAAAACE! Seriously love the feel of this army. Fanatical followers of mysterious god beings backed up by giant stone murderbots. What’s not to like? First up, my 500 point army! Let me know what you guys think! I’m not 100% done yet, so totally open to tips and opinions.

I still need to do high-lights on all of them. Really want to make the stone murderbots look like they just got activated out of an ancient temple. I’m wondering what it would look like to cover them in foliage and stuff. Sorry about the pictures. If you enlarge them they’ll rotate.

I've never heard of them but those are really neat looking. I do like the idea of giving them a bit of greenery for accent, maybe some mossy texture?

realism is a lie
