A few weeks ago I saw Battlefleet Gothic Armada on steam, I was excited, but was disiapointed because it was RTS, and I can't play that. But should they make an exact copy of BFG for computer? Rule for ruile, point for point, turn based sim of the of the table too game. Could it make enough money to be worth it?

GW's stance has historically been that they don't want a 1:1 computer game version, as it could hurt model sales.

That said, the newest new Space Hulk game looks pretty 1:1, to the point that it looks spectacularly boring. However a lot of that is a lack of animations, art and decent sound/music assets to take advantage of the fact that it's a computer game (much like the Talisman ports- it doesn't have to have a terrible UI, but that was a design decision they made.).

As for BFG... eh? 'Make enough money to be worth it' is a pretty complex subject. It depends how much money goes in, and how well it gets out to the market.

Given BFG 1 was kind of pants, and BFG 2 is coming out around January (with more factions and 3 campaigns), it seems fairly moot. With a new RTS version dropping at the beginning of the year, they aren't going to do a turn based version any time soon.

Scotland, but nowhere near my rulebook

It exists! Or did. On Android. Battlefleet Gothic: Leviathan. But I think support may have been discontinued - difficult to find on the play store.

Yeah, this was true to the tabletop game. The game had issues on Apple systems after an update and then the company disappeared (assuming went under).

"Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. " - V

I've just supported the Permanent European Union Citizenship initiative. Please do the same and spread the word!
