Hi Guys,
A comment in another thread mentioned "missing formations" and this got me thinking, i personally loved the flavour formations added but hated the way they could effectively break the game- too many were OP and i was definitely happy that GW moved away from them in 8th....
Only to replace them with a way of making pretty much any army unbound.
Now after a little dabble with 30k ive had chance to see the Rights of war system which i actually really like.
Personally, id love to see a switch to just a single battalion/brigade system with army specific rights of war;
You want to run the whole soup thing?- fine, but no rights of war
You want to run a fluffy Whitescars bike army- great- take the "fast attack as troops" ROW and gain lets say a CP bonus and some kind of advance and shoot/charge special rule. Nothing huge, nothing game breaking, just a little buff that makes that particular army play better.
Pair this with a little restriction such as limited heavy support or something like that and you're good to go?
Anyway, what are your thoughts now we've kind of been able to taste them all?
