I love fluff, I love lore - and I love to paint.

I'm currently undergoing my first ever space marine army (Grey knights) given that I have purchased all the paints required for the silver/blueish armour, curious if any lore-related space marines chapters with a similar 'steel'/'silver' look are available.

I have a bunch of primaris space marines - which sadly (and understandably) cannot be used by grey knights due to lore, so curious if they can be painted out in a similar scheme to grey knights (Without founding my own chapter - although I'm interested to hear about how people on this forum have created their own!)

Only 'relavent' chapter I can find are: Astral claws - mostly due to staring in awe at the Lugft Huron chapter master on forge world...

Cheers guys!

These guys came to mind first but if you want to paint your guys a certain way do it and come up with your chapters name and background as you collect your army.

Nothing is stopping you from using the GK models and using SM rules if you want.

Also Guardians of the Covenant, which have the added bonus of having cool robes if desired

Well another option would be to go red hunters.

They work with the inquisition which isnt really a GK thing but it could fit.

alternatively just make your own thing.

What do you mean by the GK don't work with the inquisition? They are literally a branch of the ordo malleus they are the inquisition.

Ultramarine 6000 : Imperial Knights 1700 : Grey Knights 1000 : Ad mech 500 :Nids 4000 : Necrons 500 : Death watch 500

Strike Squads could serve as an interesting Counts-As Company Vets with various melee weapons. I'd probably avoid that though and try to procure some right handed Chainswords, but at least Power Swords will only set you back a little???
