Yo, so if i'm building a big army (Grand allegiance order), which includes sylvaneth and stormcast eternals. Can their battalion rules be used? Even if their title says they're sylvaneth or stormcast? I'm using an example of faq, where its stated that Grand host of nagash can use legion of blood warscroll abilities.

As long as the battalion has the ORDER keyword, you can add it to your army. It is the same as adding any warscroll to your army.

Thanks, youre probably correct, but the faq was misguiding. There was written that warscroll can be used by the faction mentioned in the title, but legion of nagash errata allowed court of nulahmia to be included in Grand host of nagash.

Umm, i'm still confused about allegiance rules.. where does those keywords appear for battalion? Faq written; battalion belongs to publishing battletome. Lets say, that I build a big army of Chaos (skaven, beasts, khorne, nurgle etc.), belonging to Grand allegiance Chaos. Can I use faction specific warscroll, such as goretide, or clan skryre? Or do they count as allies?

the entire battalion and units in it would be considered allies

Automatically Appended Next Post:
it is an example of the exact same thing as the ruling in Everchosen:
Q: Can the battalions in this book be used in Khorne, Nurgle,
Slaanesh or Tzeentch armies?
A: Yes, but the battalion and all of the units in it would
be allies.

Grand alliance armies don't (and can't) take allies. They don't have an ally chart for starters.

All battalions have their GA keyword, in addition to printed and publication keyword.

Where is this rule listed? I am pretty sure it exists but I cannot find/remember where it is.

So, is everything at Chaos lists available for Grand allegiance? Otherwise, whats the point for whole Grand allegiance?

"Q: The rules say that a warscroll battalion can include allies
and that they don’t count against the number of allies in the
army. Does this rule only apply to battalions that share the
same allegiance as the army, but that have units from two
different factions (a battalion in a Daughters of Khaine army
that has Daughters of Khaine and Stormcast Eternals units,
for example)?
A: Yes. The faction a warscroll battalion belongs to is
shown on its warscroll, above the title of the battalion.
In addition, the battalion is assumed to belong to the
Grand Alliance that its faction is a part of. Warscroll
battalions that share the same allegiance as an army
can always be taken as part of the army, and if they
include any allied units, these units do not count against
the limits on the number of allies the army can have
(or against the points limit that can be spent on allies
in a Pitched Battle). An army can include a warscroll
battalion of a different allegiance to the rest of the
army, but if it does so the units in it do count against the
limits on the number of allies the army can have (and
the points for the battalion and the units in it count
against the points limit that can be spent on allies in a
Pitched Battle)."

So, yes?

In addition, the battalion is assumed to belong to the
Grand Alliance that its faction is a part of.

Thanks. Rules are so spread out in 2nd edition I keep having trouble finding where they are actually written.
