It's been 'in the pipeline' for a while. Amazon has a 18 Jun. 2019 release date, but ti's probably a bit further off than that.

I’ve always wondered why the Korean War gets skimmed over for war movies, historical documentaries and games in favor of WW2 or Vietnam. I would certainly be more excited about it if I actually knew more about the skirmishes that happened - all I know is that it was the setting for M*A*S*H and lots of fighting over the 38(?)th parallel, and that’s about it.

Not human waves. There were extremely risky infiltrations of UN positions, which tended to go very badly for the Chinese in the instances when they were discovered. But the stories about human wave attacks are just that - stories.

I would have to disagree with that statement, There are plenty of official recorded accounts of the Gloucesters last stand(and other UN forces) and many describe large masses of men rushing positions often with only grenades. No they were not rushed by 10,000 Chinese in one go but certainly in some cases a hundred plus against one gun position. The bodies counted in front of the guns don't lie.
Your description of infiltration for Chinese forces fits with Chinese tactics at the point of attack and they aimed to bypass strongpoints and cut off the rear, but once achieved they used overwhelming force to take the strongpoints and were happy to accept extremely heavy casualties to achieve it. The Chinese had an endless supply of canon fodder and used it.

Well, I have finally found a use for my US airborne sprues, and a reason to get my British back in action.
It is good that so little changed between WW2 and the Korean war.
