Hi
sorry to post a question are posted months ago but the forum gave me a warning about replying to a 3-months old post so i did a new one
when i bought my knight i full magnetized it so i can swap weapon options and get the full range of different knight. Now i bough an Helverin box and i'm wondering if it is worth:
the box came out with just the cannon weapon option (helverin) and to get the other weapon option i need to buy a new box, with bodies etc. So i'm wondering if there are really a need to magnetize weapons...
thank you for your advices!!

I've magnetised the melta/stubber, but not the main arms. We've not seen any other weapons and for what the bits sites are charging for the arms you might as well just buy more Armigers (unless you've bought Warglaives and are wanting to use non-Helverin autocannon).

This guy is right. Although I did get a different weapon from another website but I didn’t see the purpose of swapping the weapons with only two variants out there.

One reason(but very rare one) is if you have both mechanicum and knight houses and want to use both weapons with both house types. Helverin has knight house pads, warglaive mechanicum. But not many have 2 knight armies like that...

I magnetized mine because I prefer to have the flexibility down the line when things change. =]

I simply didnt glue the top part that has the shoulder pads. When i remove it i can exchange the guns/chainsword. I would really like an armiger with one autocannon and a chainsword. Sounds like best of both worlds.

Except 40k rewards specialiation. Swapping half the long range guns to h2h weapon is seriously infective

I'm with you, P5freak - I saw the Renegade Index and I was like "can I use the loadout I want with the Dominus or Armigers?" Nope. Though I guess the upshot is a Renegade squadron of Armigers can have mixed helverin/warglaive loadouts in one slot.
