Morning,

returning hobbyist, not played regularly since 5th. My old army went on ebay but the idea of kill teams has bought me back as has more 30k stuff being out.

I have seen some of the excellent warhammer tv painting tutorials, my question is, is there anywhere on line that gives a list of the paints that you need for each of the tutorials, I thought it would be in the comments but they all seem disabled? Thank you

Duncan usually tells you what paints he’ll be using in each video at the start. Dunno about the others.

For some of the longer tutorials focused on a centre-piece model such as a Daemon Primarch for example, he gives a full list of paints you'll need for the model. In the shorter, 2 minutes to show a single thing, he'll just list as he goes through

Tale of Painters have some excellent tutorials and provide a good base for doing your own colour schemes by simply substituting the paints they use for a similar tone.

It was the quickest way for me to get back into it when I began painting Tau, I just reversed the colour scheme from Tau Colours to Farsight Enclave colours and copied the tutorial.
