I want to try and cast treason of tzeentch on things like knights and named characters but it's so hard rolling higher than their leadership. For a non-competitive list I want to try and take as many leadership negs as I can to make it easier to get the power off. These are the following negs I've found so far:
Night Lords - -1 for being within 6" of a unit up to max of -3
Slaanesh psychic power that does -1 if you're within 12" of the psyker
Icon of despair - -1 to leadership if within 6"
Zarakynel - -2 if you're within 6" which goes down as it gets bracketed.

Have I missed any other leadership negs that chaos of have?

Also if you recommend using the Nightlords and icons what are the best units to use for that?

I'm planning on taking thousand sons and switching out a power on Arihman using chaos familiar to give him treason. That way I can get up to a +3, or +4 on the cast

Chaos spawn give -1 in 1''
Noxious Blightbringer reduces by 1 in 7''

Sloppity Bilepapers remove another model from units that fail a morale test.
Furies do the same on 4+ in 12''.

Butcher cannons reduce the leadership by 2.

Butcher Cannon sadly doesn't stack with anything.

Creeping Visions psychic power from R&H deals -1d3 LD.

Be'lakor gives a -1 LD like Spawn do.

Noxious Blightbringer (DG) with the Dolorous Knell forces re-rolls keeping the lowest roll.

Issue with butcher cannon is that it only effects units with multiple models, so it won't be able to neg characters. I've gone with using Slaanesh power, 3 units of night lords and an icon of despair. Taking away -5 leadership that way is more than enough to control any character.

Dude, I've been down this path myself! Nightlord HQs on bikes is a decent option. But the clear winner imo is a Renegade Atropos as your warlord – all the Ld debuffs you need in one handy package.

He has a natural -1, and the trait gives him -1 at 12", and -2 at 6". In my experience -3 is the sweetspot, allowing you to treason a knight on a 7+. He's 555pts but that leaves you plenty to make a decent Sons list. His big bonus: native 4++/5++, so rotate gives him 3++/4++, which is ace on a W27 model that has to die asap.

That's genius. I've gotten to the point of using a daemon prince and two jump pack sorcerers for the -3. Keeping them behind my troops so they can't be targeted until the character I wanna control gets too close, then they'll jump out and I'll spring my treason trap

How does an Atropos get -2 leadership? It can't get the Nightlord's trait because it's not infantry, biker, helbrute or daemon prince. And there's nothing that is a 12" inch neg leadership bubble, only 6"

It's the warlord trait on Renegade Knights, as per the mini-codex that GW released last month. It does indeed give a 12" bubble for -1, rising to -2 within 6".
