Do you guys fill the gaps on your space marine dreadnaughts.

Specifically the ones along the top of the shoulders, but also in general?

If you look at the official GW website (linked below), the dreadnaught showcased on the website clearly still has the gaps remaining accross the top of the shoulders.

Are they supposed to be there to show how the dreadnaught is like a sealed tomb, or are GW themselves just being lazy?

Well seeing as it's on every dreadnought and the model in the picture is like 15 years old then it's probably intentional. Anyway I always leave the gap, it breaks up the area its its easy to end up with a weird looking fill.

If you're talking about the big angular lines on the armor plates when viewed from the top, those are intentional. They are seams between armor plates, not gaps between kit parts.

Lol I have a 25y/o dread that has no physical join to the top armour but it still has the line where the different plates meet, it’s the design and because it’s now made of plastic

EDIT: also the “sealed sarcophagus” is the post box looking thing with the pipes on both sides.

Yea I have 3 metal dreadnaughts all early 90's.

Stripped and ready to go, can't wait but got a couple other guys on the list to do first.

Those old metal boxes would destroy your army if you ever dropped them on the table, built like a cannon ball.
