Really like this and had been watching it but now that I bought a resin printer I kind of have to not back things anymore as I can print just about anything. Though I might get the exclusive if the $20 price includes shipping.

Colour me interested in this!

A few questions
1) Any chance of getting some comparison photos of your minis from this range next to other produced ranges (eg GW). I'm aware you've done similar for your previous campaign, would be good to see these models done the same

2) As you've got some masters made any chance of a 360 rotation video/photo for some of the models so that we can see the details all around.

3) Any plans of pushing more marketing out there (Beasts of War or other online blogs/review sites/youtubers)

I'm glad to see that your previous KS has funded and also delivered (going by the recent comments) and it sounds like you've learned from the first campaign.

There's a lot on their facebook page, including the next 2 factions if this does well. https://www.facebook.com/Wrathbornthegame/

The figures in this KSer actually had a metal run earlier in the year so there's a lot out there, might be able to find some scale shots but doing a google search.

Ahh thanks for the clarification Timmy!

And yeah I forgot to check the video - only thing that now stands out as a negative to me is - having seen the video - the wolves lack tails! I'm sure there's a good reason for this in world, but it still seems very odd to have such wolfish werewolves with no tail

The next 2 Factions; Feudal Japanese Dragon People and Chocobo Riding Western Medieval Knights Faction (the shorthand, totally inaccurate descriptions).

Artwork in the 1st update and will be available as an alternative to the current factions as a pledge.

...This KS could probably do with more exposure.

This one is really struggling. The fund goal is quite high, assuming that's mostly book printing but still seams high just for a book and some resin minis.

How does that tie into vikings vs werewolves?

Honestly confused now.

Coz... Fantasy? I have no idea, the outline for the setting isn't that detailed as of yet and there's nothing on the other factions other than concept art.

The models are Pewter, not Resin. As to whether that's putting people off, I couldn't say. I am mildly concerned that it hasn't really moved since the initial set of backers at launch. Comments section is a wasteland which can't be a great sign.

Not wishing doom and gloom upon the game by any means, there's some lovely sculpts in there but the perceived value of modern Kickstarters probably isn't. 15 Pewter models (without factoring in SGs) and the book for £100.00 and it's not out until 2020? It's hard to judge against other sets; the individual models are pretty big, especially some of the Lycans but KS throws up some weird results. Look at the current Fireforge one. On paper it sounds awesome; HIPS multi part plastics at a (IMO) not unreasonable price but the perception is that it's floundering and they've had to adjust. This looks like having to do something to lure people in and it's not like they didn't get exposure, particularly given how much of a buzz Lion Tower created with their sheer quality models at UKGE.

Aye, but they've said they are aiming to self fund the first two armies to retail now. They've stated that a core reason for the lack of success is that their game is just too unknown at present to generate the hype needed; so bringing the game to the market and then building a customer and fan base sounds like a very logical step. Hopefully they might return to KS in time with a stronger start.

In general a KS needs to be a huge marketing investment - most need to fund in their first day if not first two or three days; if they go beyond that without funding (and its not a matter of just one more backer needed) then it can seriously stall a campaign. Just limping through to funding works for some things, but for Miniature companies they often want to be well into their stretch goals

They already had the molds done for these armies as people have been able to buy them since the spring so I think the KSer was just to fund new sculpts and the books.

Really though 18k pounds (23k USD) is a lot for what they were trying to deliver, I really doubt the book was going to be anywhere near that to print and, as I mentioned above, the molds were already done for the minis months ago as they're up for pre-order and ready to ship next month.

So to say that they're unknown isn't the sole reason, having a really high funding goal didn't help especially when their first KSer (more generic D&D minis) had almost 200 backers and only a 5k funding goal. They didn't even hit half their previous backer numbers.

Just some clarification the funding total inc the mass-production of the book and both starting factions, they did a small pre-production run with the master molds for UKGE in June(summer) and only sold them there for that weekend, as for them being up for pre-order they only went up when they announced they are cancelling the campaign and are now being cast in resin

My issue is more that vikings and werewolves have been overdone.

That's not a knock against the figure quality either- it's just neither faction are things I need as I've already got figures from a variety of other manufacturers covering those styles of figures.

Now samurai dragon people? You could probably catch me with that. I can't speak for others though...

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

100% with you Highlord. Between my Confrontation metals and plastics, Mierce Norse (60+ Holumenn) and tons of Legendarion wolves nothing here hit my "must have" list.

But Dragon Samurai? Especially Dragon Ogor (hate that name...prefer Dragon Ogre...) substitutes interested me greatly.

Urusei Yatsura, Cerebus the Aardvark, Machiavelli, Plato and Happy Days. So, how was your childhood?
