Hey all, so I've been building my Red Scorpions for some time now and it's almost done. I've wanted it to centre around Primaris marines and be setup for Maelstrom tournaments. It's obviously not built to table (doubt you'll find any pure marine list that can). I also wanted to play a couple models that you often don't see (Triple Vindicators). With the new
FAQ +1 to second turn stratagem it might actually be setup to take a punch. So here goes:

Idea is to have Culln the beast that he is march up the table and have the Vindicator trio (line bombardment being a decent threat) make it a hard choice to make for my opponent which to take out, both T8 and a decent amount of wounds and the +1 turn two strat makes them even more durable. Meanwhile scouts and scout bikers are there to jump on objectives and the same with intercessors to be in cover, all dealing with chaff. The Reivers are there to be flexible, maybe tie up vehicles or again deal with chaff with plenty of attacks.
The Captain and Lieutenant are to sit with the Vindicators providing rerolls and Loth is deployed depending on who the opponents are, as I like the reroll to wounds vs psykers which could come in handle for intercessors for example taking shots at Flying hive tyrants. He is also to Veil of time Culln to give him that reliable extra movement as well as 3 Denies. The apothecary can sit with the Intercessors doing his thing, just had some spare points and is also quite thematic with the Red Scorps.
Will be running as Ultramarines because obviously that's the best thing to do
