We're gearing up for the launch of our next KS campaign later this year. Reichbusters: Projekt Vril is a co-operative Weird War 2 miniatures board game. Here's some sneak peaks of some of the minis. The scale is 32mm and the big guy stands 95mm.

What material are you planning for the miniatures?

The miniatures will be high quality PVC plastic with anything narrow and prone to warping done in ABS. It's the same as what we did with Mythic Battles: Pantheon and will do for Solomon Kane.

Oh well.

Guess it makes sense for a boardgame product.

Looks good so far. I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

I have Mythic Battles Pantheon and I can say the plastic figures are really good quality. If these are the same quality, all is good.

I have the results of the last chamber: You are a horrible person.
That's what it says: A horrible person...
We weren't even testing for that.

I can't think of any board games that don't use PVC except very spcialist ones like Kingdom Death or Shadows of Brimstone. It's the industry standard.

Mythic does good stuff - this looks interesting, but not sure I'm excited enough to buy in. Weird War 2 has never been a huge thing to me. I think there will be a lot of interested folks.

I try to feel excited about this but it does not click for me yet, maybe if it had more hard tech and less bio tech?

Now I'm a little sad Mythic switched back to 32mm from 35mm because they would have matched all my Dust miniatures!

Bring on she wolves and perhaps a german moon base and we'll talk!

I'll keep an eye on this. My issue with Weird War stuff is too many publishers play it safe and conservative. Please go absolutely bonkers with this.

The nuttier and crazier, the better.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

We're going as far as we can. Moon base is something we'd love to do if it proves popular enough for future expansions.

They're compatible . We used DUST minis in playtesting mixed in with our own 3D prints.

We've already shown off a mech when we were at Gen Con. I'll try and dig out a photo. There's plenty more where both those came from

Any chance of a scale shot of the normal humans? These vs dust and 40k would be great.

Also what size base is the officer above on?

Oh. I like these models. They're fun.

But the British guy really bugs me. His guns make no sense at all. They have water cooling jackets, but no water. They have a bottom feed, despite there being clearly modeled side feeds. they have spade grips at the back but a pistol grip 'cos rambo?

His pouches should also be considerably more bulky, but that's just nit-picking

What kind of game is it? You mention co-op so are we talking like a dungeon crawl kind of game, or something a little more like a skirmish type game?

I wonder if these are comparable size to Hellboy board game nazis...?

Anyway, you had me already with the Wierd War II theme...

EDIT: I think HB nazis are 32mm scale...

I think what I find more disturbing is he's using a pineapple grenade as a crotch guard. That takes some ...erm, balls.

This stuff looks great, looking forward to seeing it and more.

It's more dungeon crawl than skirmish. You play it co-op controlling a team of Allied heroes on a suicide mission against the weird Nazi hordes.

Is this another dice-chucker where you're making a skill check against a number?

Will there be regular nazis and plenty of mini's for gamers new to Weird War II? I'd like to use miniatures for multiple game systems, including WWII Cthulhu.

Mythic Pantheon miniatures were great.

Yep, you do chuck dice in this one. You'll augment your actions with a hero-specific deck of cards.

There will be a plenty of minis. You can see a Nazi officer in the top photo and a Nazi trooper in one of the photos further down.

Thanks

If all of the maps are of similar quality as the train, I'm sold!

The woman in the pic, is she a hero figure? French resistance perchance?

Looks good, would be an interesting board tile too.

As it has been discussed above any chance the British hero model be modified?

He clearly carries two maxim/ vickers even if modified firing mechanism and feed are completely off place and it looks silly, he would be better with two Lewis guns.
