Hi! I’m new at Kill Team and pondering the Starstriders. One thing worries me, though- what if their only non-commander leader, Nitsch, is injured and has to sit out a game?

You can’t play without a leader, so... that does confuse me a bit. Am I missing something?

Is there anything stopping you recruiting a new Voidsman and making them a Leadership specialist? They won't get Nitsch's special rules, but they'll still count as a Leader. Just leave them to languish in obscurity once Nitsch returns.

Sadly, in the Voidsman list of available specialisms, it says Leader (Nitsch only)

I think you'd just have to do without a Leader for one game, then. If the game calls for one, I'd use the Commander if present or another Specialist.

The game or FAQ doesn't address it, as it appears to be only of concern to the two teams from Rogue Trader (and possibly the Last Chancers and Gaunt's Ghosts).
