Hi all, Andrew from Meridian Miniatures here. As well as running Meridian Miniatures for the last 6 years I have been involved in the wider miniatures hobby in my spare time. While browsing Instagram I came across the artwork of @blackcrabart and knew that I had to sculpt miniatures based on the amazing pictures that I saw.

I had such an amazing response when I shared the images online that I decided to set up a modest Kickstarter to fund their production and enable people to get their hands on them. I'd like to thank Moritz @blackcrabart for allowing me to use his artwork, check out the original pictures on the link below.

Love them!

Is there anything 'tech' on them that would look weird in a fantasy setting?

No, nothing like that. I think they'd look perfect in either setting.

I like those too. Probably a bit expensive for me, but still, very nice!

Tempting. These would certainly make wonderful Inquisitorial acolytes or some kind or other.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

People are coming up with some great ideas of how to use these.

Lovely models, and I'll certainly keep an eye on them for use alongside my Inquisition/SoB. They look terrific. I wish GW would produce actual models like this. There are so many properly grimdark elements of the Imperium that don't see the light of day. Hopefully when SoB explode onto the scene they come with a supporting array of these kinds of models. In the meantime, you're doing a grand job providing the goods.

I pledged. I've no idea what I will do with these. I have a imperial guard army, Preatorian Guard to be exact. I suppose I'll find some use. These models are just too cool to pass up.

Thanks, this seems to be a reoccurring theme in feedback!

Hi everyone, thanks again for the continued support! I thought I’d share some more images to of the painted figures. I had a lot of fun with my iPhone and some free apps when I made these images! The photos were taken before I varnished the figures, I loved the richness of the colours at this point. I can’t wait to see what paint schemes all of you come up with once you receive your figures.

Hi everyone, we appear to still be thundering along! I can’t believe how successful this campaign has become, thanks so much to everyone involved. I’ve been having more fun with apps so I thought I’d share some detail pics of the figures as you will receive them. I’m very happy with the castings, they’re on par with every good quality casting I’ve ever bought, minimal mouldlines and filling needed before painting and all the little details captured perfectly! I’m really looking forward to receiving a big parcel of castings once we’re funded so I can forward them all off around the world!

So glad these are getting the kind of action they deserve. Here's to a successful KS, and then another after that!

Project funded and then some!

Congrats to Meridian Miniatures on the successful campaign.

Since you're asking for ideas of what to do next, I vote for the creepy children with skulls and bells. Can't have enough creepy children tottering around the place!
