Terrain Crafting
Most of my spare time is spent crafting terrain, I will post pics of various projects here
This small modular cliff set has been made while waiting for paint and glue to dry on my current large project.
All levels are individual pieces, larger pieces are sized to fill the end of a minimum sized AoS board.

Nicely done... I'm scheming something similar in a urban setting. I'm assuming all hand-painted, no sprays?

XPS foam, textured using a knife and wire brush. Hand painted and flocked with my own hand made flocks.

cutting coconut fibre in prep for building pine trees, the black board underneath is waiting for texture to be applied when it stops raining outside. (my workbench is on my verandah while my workshop is renovated) spreading dirt, sand and grout is not a good activity on the dining room table lol

Step 3 of making pine trees, mist taking a pic of just the coconut fibre branches, go cranky not having good light and to lazy to get a light box out to use.
undercoated brown ready for foliage, while drying trunks need to be cut, textured and painted. Automatically Appended Next Post:

Coconut fiber for the trees works out very well. How durable are they, or will they be?
Yes, sand is something to be used outdoors, or in the garage. Never the dining room, or kitchen, table Messy stuff.

the fibre feels fairly stiff now, when the foliage is glued on and sealed it will be more durable but will still need some care in handling, no tossing it in a box with the hope of it not breaking but should handle normal use.
