Hello All,

I am wanting to kitbash a Primaris Kor'Sarro Khan model. I was thinking about using the generic Primaris Captain model and using one of the dueling swords from FW from the HH game as Moonfang.

Anyone have any opinions or recommendations for bits?

Will he have a helmet? If so, there's always the Horus Heresy helms for the White Scars. Should work for Primaris. Beyond that, any tassels or medallions would be appropriate.

I'm actually looking for a "Mongolian style" head for him. I had considered just doing a head-swap on a Gravis captain. But, it's strange. Gravis armor doesn't seem to really do anything. I'm curious, what is the point of it?

It's toughness 5 and decreases movement down to 5 inches. It's actually decent (though a touch overpriced) on everything except the captain. The gravis captain is a bleh because his bolter has pistol rules and of course there's no options. So he's slow and wants to get into melee with no deepstrike, transport, or jetpack. If he had the same boltstorm gauntlet as the Aggressors I think you'd see him taken more often, as at least then he could have some good shooting as he runs around. Trouble is a slam captain is about the same cost. . . Really no contest there.

Phew that was a digression. The rules are a shame because there's some cool custom modeling potential with that model.

Eh, I'll still play with him. He rides in my Repulsors all the time with a unit of Aggressors.
