I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but I always like to get clarification from people who have a greater understanding of the rules. I know a few armies have the Killshot stratagem so just to save some time i'll cut to the chase. It roughly states that "Use this stratagem in the shooting phase if a Predator is within 6" of 2 other friendly Predators. blah blah blah". My question is does this stratagem extend to the Deimos pattern Relic Predators as well. They do possess the "Predator" keyword so I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I just want clarification.

Predator is not PREDATOR. Unless it's a codex Predator, it can't use the stratagem.

Name not equalling a Keyword is proven by the errata to the Astra Copywritum codex

Change the second sentence to read:
‘Select a BASILISK or WYVEN model from your army.’

Previously it just said "Basilisk or Wyvern". Because GW errata'd this it's safe to assume that because they didn't also errata the SM codex that this is, for lack of a better word, "intentional". If Basilisk was equal to BASILISK then they would not have needed to errata it.

Expect the usual suspects to start screeching about "RaW abuse" and "Rules as Intended" however. For some bizarre reason some people get hysterical when rules don't work the way they want them to.

So are you telling me that the Killshot doesn't work for BA Baal Pradotors then. And also, I was under the impression that all imperium armies could add forgeworld vehicles to their armies. And I'm also confused by your "Predator does not mean PREDATOR " line. Deimos Predators have the keyword "PREDATOR". So how does it not count as a PREDATOR.

You are correct, Killshot does not work with Baal Predators.

The stratagem says "Predator", not "PREDATOR", so it only works with models that have the name "Predator", not models that have the keyword "PREDATOR".

Being able to add a model to your army doesn't mean stratagems have to work on them...
