Pin it and super glue.

I can make a hole with my xacto knife, but do you know a place where I can find a box of very thin paperclips to use as a pin?

I'd use a 0.8mm drill bit and a basic paperclip to pin it, then glue.

Thank you for the responses. I put Gorrila Glue on it as a temporary measure and it seems to hold well. Will have some paperclips and the bit on me for when it breaks off again.

You should pin every joint. I keep brass wire on hand for that.

I use cheap pin needles for pinning. Thin and sturdy and really cheap.

Like previous members have mentioned. Using a pin-vice hand drill will let you make small holes in each part and then a metal pin (I prefer brass as it can be a little flexible if your two holes do not like up perfectly) to give strength and support. For glue I use 5 minute epoxy (lasts longer and is stronger than super glue). I have lots of older resin models still connected and more than one has had falls on the table top.

My two cents,

I have some old 1mm garden wire, its pretty soft compared to paperclips, but it's perfect for pinning, and comes in rolls by the metre, so when i say old, £2 worth of wire has lasted me easily 10 years, and I have never had an issue with it not being strong enough, or coming apart.

Try using a pin to poke a small hole where you want to drill to make sure the pin goes in the right place, and you can drop a blob of point over it, line up the parts and see where the corresponding hole needs to be

Ramos Asura uses music wire for those small, extra-fiddly areas. YMMV.
