Subject: Nurgle Daemons-Better Elites And Heavy Support?
I'm genuinely surprised Nurgle doesn't have something like a Plagueburst Crawler or a Screaming Skull Catapult as a Heavy Support choice - something that can lob piles of stinking refuse into enemy lines.
For Elites... snail cavalry? A la Horticulous Slimux.

And call it +2 for the extra mount attacks-less of them, but of a much higher quality.
40 PPM.
Also, Plaguespears will cost 4 points, so unless you drop down to the Swords, they're 44 PPM.

Abilities Daemonic
Disgustingly Resilient
Friendly Competition-The living towers of disease and filth like to engage in good sport with one another. While in a unit of three, you may add one to all hit rolls.
Revolting Regeneration-Each model with this rule regains d3 wounds at the start of each of your turns.
Growth Generator-A model with a Growth Generator always regains 3 wounds with their Revolting Regeneration, rather than d3. In addition, roll a d6 at the end of each of your movement phases. Any number of friendly NURGLE DAEMON units within 6" regain a number of wounds equal to the number rolled, divided between them as you wish. You must heal injured models before returning slain models.
Slow and Purposeful-A model with this rule ignores the hit penalty for moving and firing Heavy weapons. However, they also only roll 1d6 for charge rolls and 1d3 for advance rolls.
Example: Let's say you have a unit of 24 Plaguebearers (down from 30), a unit of 2 Nurglings (down from 3, and one is down to 2 wounds) and a unit of 2 Plague Drones (down from 3, and one down to 3 wounds) and roll a 6 for your Growth Generator. You could heal the Plague Drones back to full and add 1 Plaguebearer back, or heal the Nurglings to full but nothing else, or heal the Plaguebearers to full but nothing else. Basically, the number rolled is the TOTAL you can restore, not PER UNIT.
In regards to the growth generator, does it not have a range? Also does the healing effect stack? If I had three would I be healing 3D6 wounds? That seems a little....intense.
As for the snailriders, I like the concept but they seem a bit too expensive for me. Bloodcrushers cost 47 and are considered by most to be wildly overpriced. An even 40 for the spears perhaps?

6" range. Forgot to put that.
I would say yes, it does stack, but it also replaces everything except the close combat of the Mortars, so... Still, could easily be a pricy upgrade.
And I'd rather err on the side of too expensive than too cheap.
