Hey All.

I'm looking to put together a themed list, but with an eye toward making it reasonably competitive.

So I'm trying to get in either Vader or the Grand Inq plus 7th sister & 5th Brother. I don't own either a striker or aggressor (the cheapest option for 5th), so I could definitely use some help on that front.

I'm currently thinking about something like this:

Darth Vader (70)
Fire-Control System (3)
Afterburners (8)

Seventh Sister (48)
Supernatural Reflexes (12)
Proton Rockets (7)

“Double Edge” (33)
Dorsal Turret (4)
Fifth Brother (12)

Total: 197

Don't think afterburners are worth the points and you would be better off with Barrage rockets on double edge as it synergizes with both his ability and fifth brother. Don't know how competitive it will be as its a very fragile list.

So, I'm assuming the ships don't have to have appeared on Rebels?

If so, you could use a bomber or a striker to, imho, greater effect.

Well I was hoping to get 5th Brother into the list as well (for the Season 2 "Twilight of the apprentice" theme. So I could get 5th in with a Sentinel or black scout (or Duchess if I drop the 'burners on Vader)

Yes.

They'll literally just be a caddy for Fifth Brother, so a striker might be the better option, but there you go. (I'm saying this from a mobility standpoint.)

I'm kinda liking the striker idea in that I haven't yet learned to fly ailerons and this list could be a good way to get started...
