Doesn't bother me as I love converting and kit-bashing but do you think we'll get renegade knight models?

Highly doubt it. At best they might have a chaos sprue at some point later on.

Yeah an upgrade would be fine, as the armour plating is all that they really need and you can also convert on top of that. Chaos players also have probably the most abundant of things from models that can use to kit-bash, rhinos and predators etc. always come with more kit-bashing stuff that you really need to make them spikey. I think the only chaos army that can't get away with it as much is the thousand sons, as they have a very unique type of aesthetic, the spikey look doesn't look that good with them, they were and always have been quite cultured in their aesthetic and ideology.

There is a fw chaos knight sprue. Personally I kit bashed a daemon prince where the head should be, and extra dp arms all over. Did the same to armigers with chaos spawn.

I used a Juggernaut head for my Armiger and gave it spikes and chaos spawn bits. It really isnt hard to make a chaos knight if you have an even modestly sized bits box.

Maybe one day in the future. Thing with chaos is that waiting for an updated model is playing the long game. I’ve been waiting for over 15 years for updates chaos marines for example.

That being said, the FW chaos knight is a fantastic kit, I’m building my own house with them and for armigers I’m just converting the Decimator model. It’s basically the same size.

Other than the FW kit and the obvious kitbashing. You can get some solid 3d printed stuff at Shapeways.

I'm gonna be kitbashing a warglaive to look like a smaller brass scorpion. I did some minor kitbashing on my Helverins too. I used a skull hurler cannon as the head and added some spikes along the carapace and shoulder pads.

I kind of turned mine into a Kytan Daemon engine, although no reason it can’t function as a Khorne knight as well; I used the metal skull style faceplate, chopped two bloodthirster axes to be the “bunny ears”, put a BT greataxe into the gauntlet hand and green-stuffed the fingers to hold it. Couple chains hanging off it and chaos marauder shields on the shoulder plates, and I don’t have to buy a damn Forgeworld model that’s half plastic and half skinny leg!

The Kytan model is one of the nicest 'kinda knight' out there along with the castigator, that's a nice model.

I took an Imperial Knight kit, painted it red and black with Khorne symbols, and slapped some spikes with skulls on them to the carapace. Makes a passable Renegade Knight, I think. It's still not completely done despite having been at this stage for almost 2 years now:

Yeah, I wanted to differentiate from just looking like a Knight; mine is definitely a Kytan conversion, with all appropriate gear.
