Hi all,


"Chooser of the slain" stratagem allows you to shoot a unit arriving as reinforcements in the end of the movement phase like it was your shooting phase. Can i also use the "keen senses" stratagem
that is used in shooting phase (because of the "shoot like it was your shooting phase" phrase)

No, because although you "... shoot... as if it were the Shooting phase..." it is not the Shooting phase.

I would think no because you're shooting as if it were your shooting phase, but it isn't actually your shooting phase. CotS let's you shoot as if. KS can't be triggered because it's out of phase. If KS said something like 'when a model makes a shooting attack...', then sure.

You have permission to shoot as if it's the shooting phase, but you don't have permission to play stratagems as if it was the shooting phase.

"As if" is not the same as "is". With one Specific Special Snowflake FAQ exception, you do not have permission to use stratagems that are used "in the X phase" when acting "as if it were the X phase".
