Outside of some competitive environment would anyone have issue with allowing an IG Killteam to upgrade one gunner to a Missile Launcher for +5 points? I like the idea of having a rocket girl like character and figured the SM pricing and profile is probably closest.

Trying to keep it friendly and add some variety and character. Anyone see any issues with this?

If you've got a cool model like that and you want to use it as a "counts as" grenade launcher or any other legal weapon, I'd be perfectly fine with it. But if you want to give your guy a weapon that doesn't exist in your faction, then yeah, I'd rather not do that.

Yeah, I’d personally suggest that a grenade launcher would be the best solution.

Because then are you modelling on a large base, or a 25mm? Why wouldn’t all factions take a model with a Missile Launcher? (I really like the ML. It is an amazing weapon in KT).

I want to run the Last Chancers but it seems like too many counts as to be fun to play against/keep track of myself.

Shame the WW version is banned from matched. Is it really crazier than some of the things the core book teams can do?

Counter-point. IG can bring 8 plasma guns to the table in matches. Should Astartes get access to 8 specials? Should Necrons get access to a plasma gun or two?

Hopefully, the rules are balanced between the factions using their available equipment. Changing that, especially in MATCHED play, would be a bad idea.

That said, you’re describing a PERFECT example of narrative play. There, the only limitation is your opponent’s permission. That would be perfect for a suicide mission scenario where the Last Chancers are put up against incredible odds to achieve a mission. Go nuts with the ML there.
