Hi!
I have a Warhammer Age of Sigmar blog - Realm of Plastic - and I'd be interested to hear what kind of content you guys would like to see.
I mostly cover the hobby side of things - collecting, painting, converting, tutorials, etc. A lot of that should be relevant and interesting to miniature collectors in general, regardless of what system you play. I also review products from a hobbyist's perspective (rather than a gaming/competitive perspective). I've already done one review for the new Beasts of Chaos battletome, and I plan to go back and do the same for past battletomes too.
So if there's anything in particular that you'd like to see, please let me know.
Cheers!
Jamie

Anything not tournament related or how to max out an army list would be welcome.

That's one area that I have no plans to cover since it's already well represented by a whole host of other blogs, channels, podcasts, etc. It's also the aspect of the hobby that I have the least interest in truth be told! Realm of Plastic will be primarily focused on collecting, painting, converting and narrative play. So if there's anything in those areas that you feel you're not seeing the kind of content for that you'd like to, I'd love to hear about it.

one aspct that there is not mutch about that kinda is needed is base conversions from square to round.
seeing as a ton of fantasy armys are on square bases, many of them impossible to remove to swap to round bases either cuz the glue is too permanent or you have metal models whit the slot base.
and i doubt GW wants to allow the usage of square bases for long, when all fantasy kits that are aos carryovers has been repacked with round bases.

GW has had the "use whatever base came with the model" since the early 2000s when they started scale creeping terminators in 40k.
I don't see that changing almost 20 years later.
Tournaments on the other hand definitely will ban you from using squares. To some people tournaments enforcing a rule and GW enforcing a rule are one and the same though.

Thanks for the suggestion! A lot of companies actually make base converters/adapters now. I thought that was pretty widely known. They're essentially round bases with a square cut out of the middle that clip over your square bases. You can base them and paint them to match your square-based army (or not). And it's not permanent, so you can switch between the two for different systems.
After all this time I assumed that everyone who might want to switch to rounds would already have worked out how to go about it, but perhaps not. Could be worth an article for sure.

Early 2000's? Earlier than that likely as there's stuff like square based hive tyrants and avatars etc.

Thats possible. I only remember the big stink started when terminators went up in base size in the early 2000s and people were demanding everyone rebase.
And GW official GTs didn't force you to and the many pages of very heated arguments on forums about it.

Hey guys, I've added a new article that you might like! It's a review for the Maggotkin of Nurgle battletome, written from a hobby perspective rather than a rules and gameplay perspective. Please let me know what you think:
