I'm doing a Guard army, and wanted to carry the skin tones and ethnicities of my troops and officers. I've got several variations of darker and lighter skin tones, but haven't found anything that works for tan skin tones. What paints and washes do you guys use to achieve tan skin?

Try multiple layers of reikland fleshshade.

I use Steel Legion Drab as a base, then highlight up with that and a flesh colour

Scotland

Wargames foundry do trios of fleshtones for various nationalities which are good. They do need a lot of stirring as they are really thin but do produce good results.

We released a 4 Flesh shades a week back, we also have some darker flesh shades as well so there should be something that will fit what you’re after.

The good thing is, if you find a tutorial using Citadel colours, you can get the corresponding colour from us using our colour conversion page. The shades are almost perfect matches (around 98-99%) so you won’t notice a difference
