What's the best for it's points and the worst of all the new ork vehicles?

Worst: squid buggy

Best: dragsta.

In my opinion

Best one is easy as stealing pie: The HQ one. Can be 16"+d6+1+2d6+1 charge for some sick long threat ranges, does nice damage, benefits from character protection. Others are glass cannons so if you go first they do something, if not and don't have like 6+ of them they die.

Squig Buggy and Boomdakka are the two obvious losers. For some reason GW has always been abysmal at point costing ork shooting anti-infantry weapons. Dunno what it is about small guns that don't do much where they're like "they're fiiiiiiiiiiine it's got like 9 shots! It'll feel like a machine gun!" The squig buggy is just...baffling. It's straight up worse at everything than the boosta-blasta (Seriously, compare the profile of the rivet cannon to the profile of the squig launchers against pretty much any target in the game, straight down to like, guardsmen. The rivet cannon always does more). And compared to the BB in price, it costs like 30% more for no reason. Squigbuggy at 100 and boomdakka at like 80 and you'd be talking.

The best IMO are the wartrike (for reasons mentioned above but honestly it's not even really the same league since it's more of a mobile hq character than a light vehicle) and the Skrapjet. I think boosta and dragsta are both usable, even pretty good, but the skrapjet just has that level of cohesion in what it wants to do that I think the other buggies are all sorely lacking. Everything it does except the one shoota is S8, decent AP, high damage - very clearly knows what you want to use it for.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

on paper atleast, havnt played yet, Deffkilla and Scrapjet are epic.
Only one i feel is a total 100% waste even in a fun game is squigbuggy. The frick is that thing 140pts for? Its 9th wound? If it had like TWICE the rate of fire or was ~30pts off, i could see it being good.

I've played one game so far, and ran two of the Boosta Blastas and the Trike. Along with six bikes that was an Evil Sunz outrider detachment. After one game, I can say, I'm happy:

1) First off, they all died, but that is totally OK. Tied up a big chunk - around half - of the enemy army, was able to take any objective I wanted. Allowed the rest of my army to focus fire and wipe out the rest with overwhelming force.
2) That Drive-By Strat makes bikes great! Zoom in, pump out 36 s5 shots, and zoom back away. Not as good for buggies since they split up after they arrive on the table, which I don't love being mandatory.
3) Those burna exhausts are amazing against small stuff. I use mine against Gaunts. Go in, burn away, then burn away again on overwatch. Yes, they only had a wound or two left and died the next turn, but I look at them as suicide machines.
4) Trike boss is really good. Scary enough to draw attention, strong enough to do some work.

One game. Tomorrow I'll try the same detachment except with the dragstas against Custodes. I'll probably get the scrapjets next, and stop there.
